What are the options to model Seasons in SAP IBP ?

Hi,

What are the options to model seasonal buckets in SAP IBP. Seasons may have different definitions (month from and month to) and perhaps for each product group too. Can we model Fiscal variants or any other options?

Hi Pravin,

You can run the triple exponential smoothing with multiple seasonalities.

Thanks! But the question is more towards modeling custom time buckets or any other ways around it.

You can create custom fiscal variants and run the forecast at any level considering seasons. You have to maintain seasons correctly otherwise forecast will not generate.
