Hello,
what APO standard processes triggered from ECC through BTE ? I know that gATP from Sales Orders are triggered by BTE - NDI and ND-APO.
I can see something in CFC9.
Any other processes to know of, in terms of master data or transaction data exchange betwen ECC and APO (via CIF or BW) that requires BTE?
Thanks and best regards,
Geri
Request clarification before answering.
I found a somewhat reliable source, TBE31 table.
If I define ''IBP'' as application I can see what function modules are ''subscribed'' to it and what BTE event number will call it.
Same with NDI and ND-APO, I can see what functions it affect upon turning the flag on or off in BF11.
It looks like there is no ''non IBP'' application is subscribed to IBP and vice verse IBP is not subscribed to other BTE than IBP.

Hello,
the question is rather for parallel usage of APO and IBP linked to the same ECC.
let me elaborate a bit. When APO and IBP are both connected to the same ECC system, I do not want them to interfere,
In BF11 transaction the flag ''IBP'' must be turned off. > Would this cause any hickups in APO?
When I turn off NDI and ND-APO in BF11 > it is definitely breaks the gATP call from ECC to APO.
I would want to make sure no such happens if ''IBP'' is set off only there is no such interference with APO.
In this link https://help.sap.com/viewer/f0e636d2a3b3440581408534c9d59e43/1.1%20SP17/en-US/ef2ed6555ce27b43e10000... in section ''activation Business Transaction Events'' I do not know the reason all 3 flags are mentioned under the same point.
I want to be clear that APO and IBP can function parallel without overlaps in the BTE.
Thanks,
Geri

Hello Geri,
Thanks for detailed information unfortunately I don't have experience to connect same SAP system to APO and IBP.
However it sound interesting looks like for demand and supply planning you want to use the IBP and for gATP check order confirmation from APO due to limitation S4 AATP.
Anyway it would be matter of testing if BF11 transaction the flag ''IBP'' deactivation cause any hiccups in APO.

Hello,
Please consider Checklist of note 1139020 for Change pointer activation.
The immediate Online transfer using Business Transfer Events (BTEs) is not supported for all changes like MRP area material master data in SAP Standard also product Hierarchy for planning material and External Procurement Relationships
ALE Change pointer will be created instead, that have to be processed using transaction CFP1 or report RCPTRAN4
In that case we need to Activate change pointers for message type 'CIFSRC' or 'CIFMTMRPA' in transaction BD50.
Make sure, that all relevant fields are maintained in transaction BD52 for message type 'CIFSRC' and 'CIFMTMRPA'
Please refer wiki page for more details,
How to set up the creation of change pointers (Source of Supply)
