WEEKOFQUARTER and MONTHOFQUARTER

Could somebody please explain how to use WEEKOFQUARTER and MONTHOFQUARTER attributes of Timeprofile.

Hi Aniket,

These attributes are not assigned in any planning levels but are used in demand sensing. In a time profile, WEEKOFQUARTER defines which week of the quarter the calendar week belongs to whereas MONTHOFQUARTER defines which month of the quarter the calendar week belongs to. Hi Aniket,

Some industries observe a common pattern of increased sales and demand at the end of the quarter. These attributes are a part of logic which improves identification and handling of such quarter end patterns, eventually increasing sensed demand accuracy. Unfortunately, I couldn't find the exact mathematics of how these two attributes are used in demand sensing algorithm. You can read further about demand sensing on SAP help.
