Web UI: "Report all expected events" functionality

Dear All,

in the last EM release was introduced the "Report all expected events" functionality in order to notify one or more expected events in one screen.

How is it possible to configure it?

I mean, I created different configured fields to be used in the different events of the message event profile, but I'm not able to see them in the "Report all expected events" functionality, where I'm able only to insert date and time of the event posting (see screenshot), while I can see them using the different checkboxes of the events.

Thanks in advance!

Best regards,

Pietro

Hi Steffen,

so, if I understand well:

1) The functionality "Report all expected events" makes sense in case all the expected events have the same configured field in the event message profile.

2) In case no, I have to disable it and define the configured fields for each single event.

Now the last question:I can differentiate the expected and unexpected events including one group of events in a drop down menu and another using the checkboxes, but can I customize two different drop down menu, one for each group?

Thank you very much!

Hi Pietro,

but can I customize two different drop down menu, one for each group?

this is unfortunately not possible in the standard.

Hi Steffen,

using that customizing I can define the configured fields globally (I mean, for all the expected events): is it possible to define the configured fields for each single expected event?

In case, is it possible to disable and hide that functionality?

Hi Pietro,

individual fields are customized here:

You define your event code and then the configured fields that you want to have for this special event.

Then you get an individual entry in the UI (not under Report all expected events):

Hi Steffen,

it is clear for the unexpected events, but not for the expected events: in the last case, I can define some configured fields for a specific expected event using a checkbox or a drop down menu to post it in the correct way, but I will have the possibility to post the same expected event also in the "Report all expected events" functionality without all the configured fields (because that configured fields are related only to that expected event and not to the other, I don't insert them in the customizing you told me before): how can I avoid this double possibility of incorrect notification?

Hi Pietro,

you can either choose the "Report all expected events" and configure a list of fields that are used the for all Expected Events (as they are listed in a table a special config per field would not make sense here) or you go the way and create configs individually per event code.

This is not restricted to Unexpected event codes you can also configure it for expected events.

To avoid double possibility of sending you should switch of the "Report all expected events" option here:
