Hello, I'm trying to see if wearable RF devices for Android can be used with EWM.

- Does anyone know the showcases which wearable devices are successfully used with EWM?

- Function key can be mapped to the buttons on the touch screen by rendering?

- Is the rendering achieved by ITS mobile or external application?

Really appreciate if any advice. Thanks,

Hello Hironori, we from LogiPlus have implemented SAP EWM at customers with wearable devices. The focus is on spare Parts business, and all Pickers in the warehouse use the devices. Function key can be mapped to the buttons on the touch screen. We are using our LP MobileGRAFIX Studio ITS, which is an external WYSIWYG Generator for ITS Templates. In case you wish more information just let me know.

Best regards, Christian

Hello Christian, Thank you so much for the information. It's really interested. Could I know the vendor, OS version and model of devices implemented with EWM? It is most likely the supported devices are restricted based on EWM version. I'm guessing your customer is using the supported devices and browser right.

Also, did you generate all the RF screens with the WYSIWYG tool? Otherwise, could you please let me know what RF screens are enhanced for the user? Really appreciate if any information.

Hello Hironori, in addition to my answer from yesterday, I would like to make the following remarks:

  • The mentioned implementation of wearable devices were based on ANDROID. In one of the projects 25 pickers are working at the same time in the warehouse. It’s a SAP S/4HANA decentral 1909 implementation.
  • Regarding key mapping: key Mapping is even possible if needed, between the ITS Template Generator, the LP MobileGrafix STUDIO ITS and the Industrial Browser LP EasyCLIENT NG, which fits perfect toghether. It enables us to symplify screens for wearable devices very easily.

Best regards, Christian

Hello Christian, Great Thanks for the update! Really helpful since my customer is planning to implement S/4 Decentralized EWM 1909 as well. Would it possible to share the vendor and model of devices?
