Hello,
You have to check in storage type configuration, especially in the putaway control tab. In putaway rules and addition. I believe you should set the putaway rule as 2. Addition stock forbidden as 'blank'. This will let you put away in a same existing storage bin. I also recommend you have to check the capacity bin, if you maintain this.

Hello,
Maybe you have to check your settings in storage type. Especially in the putaway control tab. I believe putaway rules and addition stock need some configuration to let you put away in the existing bin.

Hi Shankar,
There could me multiple reasons why a empty bin is assigned to the task, instead of bin with existing stock.
To start as please check the application log in SLG1, you will get fair idea how the task was created.
I recently had similar issue (even with everthing correctly setup). On investigation it was found that in case of batch managed products putaway to existing stock setting from the warehouse storage type customising does not work.
Are the products with which you are testing batch managed?

Abhi
