Hello experts,
When working with the Transport Cockpit, we occasionally encounter the warning message "Data has been changed in parallel session". I found the note 3440905 - "Warning 'Data has been changed in parallel session' when save Freight Order", which indicates that this is standard behavior. However, no solution is suggested.
Here's the resolution from the SAP-note:
"This can occur when the previous operation performed a change on the document in the background while locking it in a parallel session (for example via an asynchronous save strategy). The system detects this change, and to make sure that the user is only performing a new operation on the "up to date" version of the document, it stops the execution and refreshes the document, so the user will be aware of the changes."
Would it be possible to adjust the save strategy to solve this issue? If so, where can the save strategy be changed?
Kind regards,
Tim

Hello @t_jungesblut
As the note 3440905 - Warning "Data has been changed in parallel session" when save Freight Order that is a standard functionality. Thus it is not an issue to be resolved. That is simply how deferred processing in TM works.
If you don't like it, you can minimize the effect by not using creation/change/save strategies. They are customize in on freight order type level - SPRO: Transportation Management -> Freight Order Management -> Freight Order -> Define Freight Order Types.
