Warning message, because a freight unit "is not of transportation mode road"

Hello experts,

When we select a freight unit to create a (road) freight order…

… we receive a warning, that the selected freight unit "is not of transportation mode road"

Is there a way to set all freight units to the transportation mode road by default, so that this warning no longer appears? A way to disable the warning would be sufficient as well.

Of note: A newly created freight unit doesn't have a tab for the "planning/execution Data" in the Stages section

However, if we assign the freight unit to a (road) freight order, the freight unit receives said tab. If we then delete the freight order, the freight unit keeps the tab, where the Transportation mode 01 (road) is set. If we then again create a freight order for this freight unit we don't receive any warning (since the freight unit is now of the transportation mode road)

warning message should not occur anymore after you implement note: "3244615 - Unnecessary warning message when creating road freight order for freight unit stage from Transportation Cockpit".

Hi Tim,

given your screenshots, this is a bug in my opinion the warning should only appear if there is actually a different mot, based on e.g. SO Shipping Type and you create a road freight order but not when the MoT is empty as in your case. In our latest code line this is also already not happening anymore. Which release are you maybe we can deliver a note for that after a double check.

Hi Tim,

Not sure in which version of SAP TM you are using but you can have archive it with different solutions.

1º Use a condition in the FU for the definition of the Means of transport in the FU.

2º using default route in the FU creation.
