Vendor Managed Inventory in IBP

Will IBP support Vendor Managed Inventory scenario? I have seen few threads around TLB not being on roadmap but what about VMI scenario?

Hi Manasa,

good questions!

VMI is part of the future direction for SAP IBP (slide #22 of roadmap Section: Supply chain control tower).

TLB is as well on the future direction for SAP IBP, working title is "Load Consolidation". This you can find on slide #42 of roadmap Section: SAP Integrated Business Planning for response and supply).

I have browsed through the roadmaps and release notes but haven't come across more detailed information on TLB/Load consolidation, is there a release note with more information regarding functionality or do you know when this will be released?

Another follow up question: Is there a reason why this solution is listed under Control Tower. My understanding is all supplier integration scenarios with Ariba are listed under CT. Can you confirm?
