Hello,

i create a network with one supplier. I define this supplier in the location md as attribute location type ="V".

but the heurisitk stopped the run with an error called "Execution of the SCM operator was skipped because the data validation for the algorithm type HEURISTIC failed."

If I change the location type as "Supplier" the heuristik is running, but the result in the kf "Transport receipts are empty. For me, the system ignore, that I have a supplier in the network

thanks for the lot of options, which you desciped. I tested in the meanwhile and I will descriped the results

1.
With Loctype = "V" after the heurisitk run the KF Transport Receipts is empty

2. Loctype ="VN" and production source header and Soruce Type = U the KF Receipts and the Transport Receipts both are empty

your answer were very helpful to understand more the Heurisitk and customizing, but my supplier will still ignore

Hi Oliver,

Can you please make sure that demand is being propagated to the supplier? You may check it via Key Figure DEPENDENTDEMAND.

If no demand is propagated to the supplier (which seems to be the case), it won't generate any receipts.
