Hello,

i create a network with one supplier. I define this supplier in the location md as attribute location type ="V".

but the heurisitk stopped the run with an error called "Execution of the SCM operator was skipped because the data validation for the algorithm type HEURISTIC failed."

If I change the location type as "Supplier" the heuristik is running, but the result in the kf "Transport receipts are empty. For me, the system ignore, that I have a supplier in the network

Hi Oliver,

If you maintain a Vendor via MDT Location Source and defining LOCTYPE = 'V' for the Vendor Location, you will see the receipts stored in Key Figure Transport Receipts (TRANSPORT)

Now if you maintain a Vendor via MDT Production Source Header with a U-Rule, the receipts will be stored in Key Figure External Receipts (RECEIPTS).

Lastly, if you maintain both LOCTYPE = 'V' and also define the Location with a U-Rule, you will receive an error, as you already mentioned with KBA 2522491 - SOP operator fails with message ID 148.
