VBAP-AUFNR missing in VA01 depending on item category

Dear gurus,

we maintain statistical CO orders in account assignments tab in our SD order items. This works fine for all item categories but one (copy of WVN Maint.Contract Item). WVN is an item typ allowing the use of billing plans, which is why we use it.

Unfortunatelly, in account assignments tab the field for AUFNR is missing. Can anyone please point out to me why that is and how this can be changed?

Yes, item category is changed manually.

Normally, if the sale order is integrated with an account assignment objects like

• an internal order or
• wbs element or
• if the sale order is relevant for CO or
• make-to-stock production with Product Cost by Sales Order
