VAX/VAY and Cost element

Dear Experts,

I read from some post that "VAX: for goods issues for sales orders without account assignment object (the account is not a cost element)". In S4, the GL and Cost element have been merged. I am curious in this case, how could VAX be picked when posting good issue?

Any insight will be greatly appreicated!

The VAX & VAY GL accounts have also been remained one of the areas of confusion for me as well but I found only solution avert this confusion which is to maintain the same GL account with cost element category in the both the modifiers ( VAX & VAY).
