Values in the planning book can not delete

Hi,

I have a planning book and a data view. If I insert now a value and save this, the planning book is working fine.

If I go out and again into the planning book, then I delete the value and then save, the value appears again in the cell.

I allowed zero in the planning area. If I change the value in another value, then it works fine. Only an delete value (empty cell) is not possible.

Can you help me ?

Hi Oliver,

If, as you say this issue is occurring to all planning books, then this sounds a bug (as Sonali mentioned) not a macro which is making the numbers return.

You may need to contact SAP in order for them to log onto your system to have a look.

thanks for the answer. But unfortunatley, it doesn't work. We have some more issues in this system.

First, how I described, if I want to delete a values in the planning book and push the save button, the figure appear again.

During my test, I find more issues. E.g. I have a key figures which have values for the whole next year.

I disaggregated on a very deep level, that means in this example on Product - country level. If I now push now the save button, the figures disappeared for some countries, although I have nothing delete. If I reload the Product in the planning book, the values are appear again in the cell.

I expect, I have a problem with the live cach. Can you help me ?

Hi Sonali,

you are right. If I delete a value in the planning book and push the save button, the values appear. If I insert a figure > 0 (e.g. 1 or 40 or 23556 ....) than save is succesful.

What do you mean with support pack ?

Do you mean you can't delete the value from a cell.Hope macro isn't populating the value. Else it's a bug.

Please indicate the support pack and release.
