Valuation Set over riding the prices of previous PI Doc postings

Hi Experts,

I have query regarding the valuation set report which we run to update the standard/moving average prices of products from ECC to EWM.

After the execution of this report, it is updating the previous PI doc posting with the new price.

For example : The value while posting in Diff Analyzer was 492.15. After running the valuation set report the value in the doc changed to 550 even though the doc was already posted.

Is this standard ? Do we have any way to restrict this?

Hi Abhijnana,

As per my understanding, when we post difference analyzer (Move type-7**), the price would update as per + or - based inventory (Stock Accounting). This is the standard in ERP/ECC.

I think you need a special movement type or some settings or some enhancement in ERP to restrict price for Physical inventory.

My assumption If we restrict in ERP, then it would impact in EWM.
