Experts,
Resource header utilization in changed in SAPAPO/RES01
I expect the utilization % and productive hours in capacity profile to be updated in all buckets but only first bucket adopts change from header. Rest needs to be manually changed.
Is this supposes to work like this ?
Secondly what damage will it do if I change the resource utilization in capacity profile and not in header.
An unrelated question,.. what does the animal "Shift Segment Type" mean? It is in capacity profile. SAP says it fills on its own.. dont bother.
Thanks
Amit

Hello Amit,
It should reflect immediately in the cap profile.
Hit the red and white circle for all time profile OR ctrl+shift+F8
Check if you are looking at the same planing version for which you have changed the utilization
"Secondly what damage will it do if I change the resource utilization in capacity profile and not in header. "
It considers the capacity data from the cap profile which is derived from resource master data, so this one has the final say.
"Shift Segment Type" F1 help is self explanatory. Hint :for any line modify the data in any of the editable cells .. say end date and hit enter.. observe whats updated in this field.
Cheers
Abhishek

Thanks. By now I can ready to submit a PhD on how Resources work in APO. Quite a needless torture on something so basic. Alas we cant develop an App for it as no one will pay me for that effort. 🙂 Quite a mambo jambo this is.
Does IBP torture likewise?
