Using SAP Router operation as means of workflow tracking

Hi Community,

We normally create routers for direct labors clocking in a production work orders. Is it possible to add in operation steps where non direct labors can do confirmations to track tasks that do not need direct labor involvements, like a workflow tracking?

For eg, WO111 has the operation steps as follow:

1. Issue Material --> 2. Assemble and test per procedure --> 3.Move to stock

If we would like to add in below steps 2.1 and 2.2:

1. Issue Material --> 2. Assemble and test per procedure --> 2.1 Indirect start checks --> 2.2 Indirect end checks --> 3. Move to stock

Steps 2.1 and 2.2 need to track the indirect labor start and end date / time without any labor cost.
