Is it license violation if we use SAP ERP transactions in EWM instance? (Decentralized EWM on S/4HANA 2020).
The Decentralized EWM on S/4HANA is not a pure-EWM only system. It technically does not prevent usage of SAP ECC transactions.
Use Case:
It is easier to check MM03, XD03 or XK03 within EWM on S/4HANA for verification of data transfer purposes.
ALE IDOC is used to transmit Materials, Customers and Vendors from SAP ECC to S/4HANA EWM.
I don't think one can get license only for the EWM part of S/4 HANA.
EWM is a part of S/4 HANA. And I believe you got license for S/4 itself and you can very well use any part of it.
