Dear Experts,
We have following two services for sending FO information to third party system from S/4 TM.
TransportaionOrderRequest_Out & TransportaionOrderGenericRequest_Out.
Please help me to understand the difference between the two and what's the use case for TransportaionOrderGenericRequest_Out ( when this can be used ) .
Since we don't want to send FO instead FU needs to be send , which would be best to use for that pupose.
Regards,
ST

Hi Saurabh,
the TransportaionOrderRequest_Out is a B2B message used for a specific purpose which is the subcontracting communication of orders between ordering party and carrier/forwarding agent.
The TransportaionOrderGenericRequest_Out is a bit more of a multi-purpose message to replicate information. Therfore for your scenario the answer is clearly TransportaionOrderGenericRequest_Out. If you run a S/4 System 2020 or higher, you will actually find that there is a PPF action 'TOR_TPNOR_FU' implemented in standard B2B implementation. Although not officially released in on-prem, the implementation of this action should be your starting point.

Emanuel
