Additional input key figure are basically used to bring the key figure data at the required planning level in the calculation for ex in your case TECBASISMATAUFFIMP is time independent key figure by using the additional key figure TRANSQTYCUST time period is added to the output planning level and you can view the same in planning view.

Thanks for your answer. if I understood correctly, the additional key figures are used to view a time independent key figure in excel planning view. Without an additional key figure it would not be possible to view this time independent key figure in planning view for the users. Right?

Normally the time independent key figures can not be displayed in planning view. We are using this additional key figure in order to display the time independent key figures in excel planning view. Right?

Yes that's correct you can use the additional inputs to display the time independent key figures in planning view in addition to that additional Additional inputs can be used to bring the key figure to the required planning levels in the intermediate calculations.
