If you follow the manual that you find online, sometimes it will not work. Here are the steps

1. Open some PS with /n/scwm/packspec

2. save it as csv

3. open in excel and delimit it

finish and save.

4. Now here comes the issue - excel sometimes in background does something "stupid", and ads commas that you cannot see. What you need to do is open your csv file with Notepad, select all, click Replace option, and replace all of the "," with the ";" ( so replace the comma file with semicolon everywhere). Just save and upload will work

Hello there,

The error appears because your default list separator on your device is set to a comma "," and the .csv that you save, is saved with commas to separate each field from the other (visible only through a text editor).
Transaction /SCWM/IPU is trying to decode .csv files using semicolons as separator (not commas), thus it fails.

As a solution, you can:

  • Either replace the "," (commas) with a ";" (semicolon) by opening the .csv file in a text editor - as another colleague already suggested
  • Or you can directly set your "List separator" option from comma to semicolon - this option can be found in Control Panel-->Clock & Region -->Region -->Formats-->Additional Settings.

Finally, in /SCWM/IPU make sure to have the "Physical file name" option selected, as well as the "Upload" option together with the required checkmarks for logging.

Kind regards,
