Update /SCDL/DB_REFDOC Table for Reference Documents

I need to update table /SCDL/DB_REFDOC in EWM. This is for reference documents on delivery items. Going with SAP guidelines you cannot insert directly into this table but I cannot find a method or FM to update this table. Any pointers will be welcome. Class /SCWM/CL_DLV_MANAGEMENT has a method ITEM_UPDATE but that wont update Reference documents. What other class is used to update deliveries in EWM?

Hello Deepak,

you could have a look at https://wiki.scn.sap.com/wiki/display/SCM/How-To+Guides. There open document "How-To Guides for EWM as part of SAP S/4HANA" (I assume you are on S/4 HANA) and in it you find a link to "How To Access Delivery Objects in S4H.pdf". This contains one way to access the delivery using the so called service provider. The coding aims at scenarios where you are the "owner" of the transaction (e.g. you have an own report,...) . If you are intending to do this in a BadI of the delivery (and you are not the owner of the transaction) then have a look at document "How to Enhance an EWM Delivery with Own Coding in S4H.pdf". There are also further how to guides which may be of interest for you.
