update custom field from work order for release strategy

Hi, for new release strategy we have added a new characteristic. which value taken from CEBAN .

Custom field name ex. zcustom. For manual creation of PR (account assignment type P & F) badi me_process_req_custis used. which works fine. and new release strategy triggering.

But for work order (IW32) i used exit ( EXIT_SAPLEBND_004.) .to update the ceban custom field and for new release strategy. which is not working properly.

Value is reflecting in ceban custom field. but release strategy is not triggering. and if i activate this exit ( EXIT_SAPLEBND_004.) for manual creation of PR release strategy is not triggering. Shd i change the exit for work order ....Please suggest.
