Hello everyone,
In ERP, we have some materials maintained with the base unit of measure kg or g. These are also transferred to EWM in kg/g.
However, in EWM, we need to work with ST (pieces) instead, as we count the number of pieces rather than the weight. And its for the warehouse easier to count the materials in pieces rather than the weight.
Unfortunately, we cannot simply change the unit of measure in ERP to ST.
What are the best ways to handle this in EWM or ERP so that we can work with ST instead of kg/g in EWM?
Thank you for your help 🙂

Did you maintain Conversion between KG and EA ?-- Also what is your preferred UoM under the storage view of the EWM product master? You can update it using MM02 under WM Execution view.
The preferred alternative unit of measure is the unit in which you usually handle a product in the warehouse.

Thanks for the help, it worked here.
I just had to post goods receipt for a new stock, so it changed to the right AUoM (the suggestion to use /scwm/post also works).
