Unable to putaway stock in stock type Q4 (Error - No bin search possible)

Hello all,

I have created a PO and inbound delivery for a material which has IOT4 (Q-inspection for inbound delivery) in EWM system.

Goods receipt is done in EWM.

I am trying to create warehouse task so that stock can be put away (stock type Q4 - Stock in QI in warehouse)

Currently, stock type is Q3 (Stock in QI in put away).

Attached is screenshot.

While creating warehouse task, system gives following error as shown in screen shot.

Further, if storage type, storage section and bin is keyed in in default values tab, system gives different error as shown in screenshot indicating - Final put away is possible only after quality inspection.

My understanding is that system should allow to put-away the material with stock type Q4 (Stock in QI in warehouse).

Can you please advice what settings are missing?

Hello Chaitanya,

Since the product has active QI document system doesn't allow you to do the put away in to final storage bin after the GR.

To do the QI check it has to bring in to QI work center where will perform all necessary Quality checks based on the QI check enter the decision code whether product has to move to scrap zone or respective final bin. 

With using POSC you can automate this process.
