Unable to perform putaway because of Storage Type Role

Hi Folks,

I'm trying to perform Simple Inbound process (No POSC) and made the required configurations. However, while during running /SCWM/PRDI for posting Goods Receipt, I was encountering an error message as "Goods Receipt posting is not possible in the Storage Type Role"

Also the SAP note 2641360 did not work out to me.

I had been to some documents which says, it is more or less related to POSC. Just to proceed further without knowledge of Storage Type Role, I maintained the entry as I and unchecked "Stor.Ctrl/Put.Compl." indicator in Storage Type setting, which made the GR happen in EWM.

But now, I'm unable to perform Putaway and status is still "Not Started".

Plz let me know the configuration mistake, importance of Storage Type Role and the way to correct this execution or the correct steps for carrying out this process.

Hi,

Please check whether you have maintained "Storage type role" in the storage type
I think if you maintain it, this error will be resolved
