Unable to Create TU automatically

Hi ,

    when i create an inbound delivery  & maintained the transport related info in the header level system is creating vehicle instead of TU i am unable to find which particular setting is missing.

Hi Vamsi,

Check the settings in " Link Between Packaging Material (TU) and Means of Transport ( /SCWM/PM_MTR )".

Here if you do not select the optional against packaging material , the system can create 'TU' other wise it can create vehicle.

            I Have a Question here the means of transport in ECC & EWM should be same , can't i achieve with different or provide mapping some where ?

Hi vamsi,

Yes, Means of tranport should be same in both systems.TU is considered as a HU . the same logic which apply for HUs, need to apply for means of transport also.
