Unable to create Handling unit during UD S4HANA 2020

Folks,

Still trying to get some help to run my partial UD scenario here. When i am trying to take UD from EWM inspection tab in QA11, i am getting a message that "Re-packing not allowed for chosen follow-up action".

I posted GR without HU.

UD from QA11 in EWM inspection tab.

Trying to create a destination HU when message pops up.

My intention is to be able to repack qty in different HU so i can take partial UD per HU.

What am i missing?

Hi KR,

For stock at the final putaway bin, I hope the system doesn't expect any more follow-up actions and hence the error message.

Did you try moving the stock (ADPROD/ADHU) to the QI work center bin and then do the repacking?

Assume stock is still in quality inspection with an active inspection lot.

Embedded: IMG-->SCM Extended Warehouse Management-->Extended Warehouse Management-->Cross-Process Settings-->Quality Management-->Inspection Results-->Maintain Follow-Up Actions

a. Define Follow-Up Actions

b. Assign Logistical Follow-Up Actions

Decentral: IMG-->SCM Extended Warehouse Management-->Extended Warehouse Management-->Cross-Process Settings-->Quality Management-->Quality Management for Decentralized EWM-->Inspection Results-->Maintain Follow-Up Actions

2. If you have already customized the follow-up actions, did you mark them as EWM relevant by selecting the field "EWM FolUpAct"?

3. First pack the full quantity into 2 different destination HUs and then trigger the follow-up action only for the HU you want to post UD.

yes i have done all of those settings with follow up action assigned. Why am i getting error for repacking not allowed.Is system expecting stock to be at a wc storage type? In my case i have moved it to final bin.

Hi, did you do customizing for follow-up action? can you provide more info?

I just tested it and it works fine for stock without HU with partial UD (I posted 1 of 5 with HU creation).
