Unable to create CVCs for MPOS with CBF indicator

Hello Everyone,

I am unable to create the CVCs in MPOS (CBF indicator is set). When I try to create CVCs (MC62), it's giving an information message "planning object has not been created".

Below are the steps I followed .

1. Created product master with strategy 30.

2. Created characteristics and class of type 012(characteristics).

3.Created MPOS with CBF indicator.

4. Created planning area. But not activated as it requires at least a CVC in the MPOS created in 3rd step.

5.created CBF table to include all the combinations of characteristics.

6.tried to create CBF profile for product but unable to do so because planning area is not active in 4th step.

I am not able to create CVCs in 3rd and 4th steps. Hence, unable to activate the PA.

I am not able create CBF profile for the product because it requires active planning area.

Can you please advise if I missed something here.

Can you please help me with the exact steps , if I missed something .

Note: I am creating classes and characteristics within APO. Not CIFing from ECC.
