TU not possible to activate - EWM 1809 S4HANA

Hi Guru's,

I'm in a S/4Hana 1809 system, busy with a inbound delivery scenario. Everything works, but when I want to activate the TU I don't get an error from SAP and also the TU remains in the same "planning" status, despite the assigning of door/staging area/inbound document.

Anyone know what and how? See attachment for example.

Have you checked explicitly log after you tried activate the TU? Slg1 or directly in Tu. Or both.

I would suggest to check number range /scwm/sr_a (tcode snro)

And authorizations (tcode SU53)

Short dumps or unprocessed update records.

And to check if everything fine with assigned door. And for sure debugger 🙂 I think I had this issue once, but I can't remember solution, in my case was something simple like number range or some customizing was not there.

You were right, I saw a different WPT when registering the TU at checkpoint. Now I have ticked the immediatly confirmation of this WPT and it's working now. GR & Unloading can be done.

I checked the message log and it says warehouseprocestype Y*** does not allow immediate confirmation. I will try to find out what it means or missing or maybe you can guide me in this if you have any experience in this? Thanks in advance.

Hi Onno,

do you have yard management active? I do not remember that activation of the TU triggers something with WT creation.

Have you find this message in SLG1 or directly in TU? If you are sure that message is relevant, jyou can set "Confirm Immediately" checkbox in customizing for the process type to see what happens if you try activate once more.

Did you dock the TU at door? I guess you haven't.
