TU not getting created in TU EWM Integration in S4 Hana embedded EWM and TM

Hi Team,

We are facing issue of TU creation after loading instructions triggered successfully. We are not able to see TU in EWM system as well as in SMQ2 or SLG1. Please provide inputs with solution to fix this.

On TM side, did you see the LDAP created? Did you check the response on that?

Probably, there is some missing configuration. See the configuration guide for TM-EWM Integration. Also, you can review KBA 2614976 - LDAP message is not being sent from SAP TM to SAP EWM.

Do you see the LDAP reference on the freight order output screen? with the XML identifier? Do you see the generated XML anywhere? SXI_MONITOR (the wrong place) or SRT_MONI (the right place for embedded TM / embedded EWM scenario)? If the XML is in SRT_MONI then there should be some sort of TU error creation message (Means of Transport not defined, or missing packaging material).

If you don't see the XML then you need a review of the settings in SOAMANAGER (get Basis and PI resource to help). And all this assumes that you have the standard PPF settings on your freight order configuration along with a correctly defined EWM integration profile. All in in your config guide 🙂

for TM-EWM Integration you can check my video on linkedin which i posted 2 months back & for your issue, the below you need to check.

1) Is your EWM Integration Profile Maintained in Freight Order type & Settings of integration profile are correct ?

2) if yes once you set the status to Transportation Execution then an XML will be generated which you can see in the output of freight order.

3) if the XML Generated & you are unable to see the TU then go to SOAMANAGER & there you select message processing to see the error messages, if it is in error there is a reason mentioned.

Hello, I´m implementing EWM release 1909 integration with TM, I have a problem with the outbound delivery in the good issue that´s no possible for this message " TU for delivery assignment / not found" That´s only happened with the outbound that coming to TM, I must have create the TU even if I have only the extended basic?

Hi,

at the moment we are trying the variant with Process Integration (PI). But not sure what has to be set up in TM in order to make sure the Loading Appointment Message in sent to the XI-Interface in the first step. We only have maintained the /SCMTMS/TOR Output Profile for the railunit type. Messages of Profile /SCMTMS/TOR are all activated, but maybe additional settings have to be made.

Hi, I'm in S4 1709 with TM and we are adding EWM basic license. I'm facing an issue because in EWM is expecting the outbound delivery to be assigned to a TU. For what I know, TU cannot be used with basic license. Is there a way to work with TM and without TU in EWM side?

Freight Booking is not supported in the Shipper scenario (with ERP delivery). See SAP Note 1984252: "Booking documents are not supported in loading appointment messages." One workaround is to create a pickup stage to the Freight Booking. This stage is detected as Freight Order, so it is part of the supported functionality (with restrictions).

I'm facing the exact same issue (Also 1809 EWM & TM embedded). No error in SRT_MONI and the delivery is updated in TM with a reference to the FRD - but no TU is generated.

Can you please share the solution with us?

TU got created successfully now. We checked further processing in EWM and found scenario working fine.

Hello,

we are using S/4HANA 1809 with embedded TM and EWM.

The goal is to sent a railcar unit with assinged freight units from TM to EWM in order to create a Transportation Unit in EWM with assigned outbound deliveries.

After the triggering the Sending of loading instruction for the railcar unit following status is updated:

Transmission-to-EWM StatusTransmission-to-EWM Status: *Shipping Point* ( ) Sent

But as mentioned in previous comments no Transportation Unit is created in EWM

and we can not find any error message in SLG1 or XI-Monitor.

Do you have any Advice?
