TU (direction inbound) is not created at receiving plant in STO process.

Hello Experts,

We are using embedded EWM 1909.

In STO process, stock is post goods issued from EWM warehouse on a TU. TU is checked out from shipping warehouse. TU's status is "completed" in Shipping warehouse. Inbound delivery is generated and is distributed to EWM receiving EWM warehouse.

Expectation is to have this TU showing up in receiving warehouse with "planned" status.

We are observing that intermittently, inbound TU is not created. Inbound delivery in EWM receiving warehouse shows field "Vehicle" is populated with TU number instead.

This is intermittent problem only. Most of the cases, TU is created as expected.

Can you please advice what is going wrong?

Has anyone experienced this issue?

Can you suggest root cause?

Hello Narsimha,

Packaging material & Means of transport used for creating TU same in all cases.

Indicator "Cont. PM" is enabled which should create TU and not vehicle.

Is the packaging material & Means of transport used for creating TU same in all cases? If not check this setting in /N/SCWM/PM_MTR
