TS Supply Optimizer resets Dependent Customer Demand Qty KF values

Experts:

I've the below situation after a TS Supply Optimizer solve -

I've a 1 week lead time on Customer-Source MDT. Weeks 20, 21 reflect the Dep Customer Dem as expected, while wk22 on (highlights in offwhite & red font) things get skewed. I am used to seeing the Dep Demand @ the MFG locations being reset by the Optimizer, but not much the same on the Dep Customer Demand.

I would expect the solve to leave the demand alone & not alter it, coz that is what should flow as a result of the Customer Demand. What is the business logic/justification behind such resetting by the Optimizer? anyone?

Hello Venkat,

the optimizer and finite heuristic algorithms don't work with dependent demands internally and can't compute them like the other heuristics. To avoid misleading contents of the dependent key-figures are filled with the actual supply.
