TS Finite Heuristic - Controlling Early Fulfillment of Demand

Hello,

While Late Demand Fulfillment can be influenced by INDEPDEMLATEDELIVMAX, is there any other parameter to control earliness? I am trying to avoid supply from being positioned too early.

The model is capacity constrained and both INDEPDEMLATEDELIVMAX and INDEPDEMLATEDELIVCOSTRATE are used to control LDF and to influence Demand Priority.

Any help/suggestions would be much appreciated.

Hello,

the finite heuristic tries to plan supply as late as possible in general. If you see a receipt in a period earlier than the demand period, it must be because of some constraint like capacities, lot sizes, or adjusted values. Another reason could be inventory target.

At the moment, there is no possibility to enforce a maximum earliness.
