Hi,
can anybody answer what I should do with not used/needed freight units in SAP Transportation Management ?
This for the background that my customer has an FUBR which cannot suspend unwanted deliveries.
Thanks for answers!
Peter

Hello @Peter2408
What do you mean by "not used/needed freight units"? If there is an open outbound delivery, it needs to be shipped sooner or later. Thus transportation needs to be planned for the delivery. If the delivery is TM relevant, TM creates freight units, which are the beginning of the planning process.
If transportation planning is not required for a delivery, then you should be made non-TM relevant or it should be deleted / blocked if the delivery is not to be shipped at all.
If you want to postpone TM planning, you might consider blocking the freight units.

Hello @Peter2408
If some of the shipments are handled without TM, then they should not be integrated with TM. That can be customized in SPRO: Transportation Management -> Integration -> Logistics Integration -> ...
If the standard configuration is not flexible enough, you can use the BADI_LO_TM_SLS, BADI_LO_TM_SHP BAdIs to implement custom integration logic.
