Transportation cockpit- incremental planning

Hello All,

a hopefully simple question, while using the ‘optimzer’ button in the transportation cockpit it would seem that both incremental planning and normal planning is possible. The incremental planning is being accidentally invoked (by selecting FU and FOs) by my planning team in the cockpit when this is not required or a business scenario we may use in the future. The incremental planning check box is not ticked in the planning profile and the FOs are not fixed.

is there a way we can disable this functionality?

Hi Stuart,

if you have switched off incremental planning in the planning profile as attached and it still does incremental planning. Then, you should open an oss incident.

What do you mean by incremental planning is done accidentally invoked by selecting FUs and FOs? Do you mean that the optimizer uses existing FOs and adds FUs to them and you want to avoid this?

if the end user selects both freight units and also freights orders then runs the optimiser in the transportation cockpit for what I see is the system Completes incremental planning….irrespective of what planning profile was used.I would like to disable this, if possible.
