Transportation Cockpit - Display-only

After the upgrade to S/4HANA 2021, when we click on any FU and FO link.. in the Transportation Cockpit, the system is opening the document in display mode.

I have reviewed the UIBB configs, page layout configs, view settings, etc and I didn't find anything to configure.

Checking the sap notes... I found this old note: 2458611 - Transportation Cockpit - Display-only access cannot be configured

Resolution

The cockpit is always opened in Edit Mode. Unlike other screens ( FO, FU, FWO, etc.), the cockpit doesn't have a separate Edit button to toggle the mode.

Business objects are opened in edit mode by default because it is expected that users entering the cockpit will be doing some sort of planning.

Is anyone else facing the same issue? Have any clue how to fix it or if SAP changed the standard behavior?

Hi Edu,

Please check Oss note 3055987 - Issue with Fiori navigation for TM apps in SAP Fiori for S/4HANA 2020 - SAP ONE Support La... is used for 2021 version too.

Enhancement my might need for it in class /SCMTMS/CL_UI_NAVIGATION >PREPARE_PARAMETERS for the Cockpit.
