Transport Planning Book without macros.

Hi Gurus!

We change the time profile of a planning view and we should transport this change. The problem is that this Planning View have a lot of macros and is also the Planning View where process chains are working, so we want to transport the minimum to avoid inconsistencies in macros.

How can we transport only the planning book without the macros?

How can we ensure that macros are not inside the transport order?

Hi Albert,

Generally macros, time bucket profiles are generally moved along with the planning book. For example if you see in transaction /SAPAPO/TSOBJ which you can use to move planning books from Dev to QA/prod.

Since in your case macros are used in multiple places - if there are no changes to the macros it should not affect them. Generally if the key figure sequence has been changed or new key figure added/deleted it might result in change of GUID for macros and could deactivate them once TR is moved. However, if that is not the case in your scenario then it should work.

Maybe once TR is moved to Quality, you can see status of the macros and there should not be any surprises.
