transfer requirements from MRP area to MRP area in MRP

Dear all.

We want to transfer requirements from MRP area to MRP area by MRP in PPDS.

Can this requirement be achieved using only the standard features of PPDS?
If you have any examples please let me know.

Hello @KH_J 

I think you don't really need PPDS to plan transfers between MRP areas. It can be easily done with MRP planning (live or classic):

See SAP Help: Stock Transfer from Plant to MRP Area The documentation explains stock transfer from a plant MRP area to subcontract MRP area. However the process works as well between any MRP areas.

I appreciate your reply, thank you. We need to use PPDS. We also want to manage inventory in each MRP area and perform requirement calculations. Therefore, we want to perform requirements explosion between MRP areas without going through the plant level. We want to know how to make this happen. Regards.
