Transfer replenishment with kanban

Hi guys,

Currently, we have a storage location (SLOC) that is replenished using the kanban classic method. When the kanban takes the empty status, a purchase order is sent to the supplier. This loop is already created. My question is: would it be possible to create another SLOC1 and have the replenishment done by transfer. So I want that when the production operator notices that his bin is empty, he changes the kanban status to empty and the stock transfer is done from the SLOC that we already have to the new SLOC1. What are the step ?

Sorry if I am using the wrong terms, I am a student and this is a semester project.
