I have a production order that was issued to a next higher production order. How do I find out to what production order it was issued to? I understand MB51 tracks material movements but we do a lot of movements of the same p/n in one day so there's a bunch of 101s and 261s. A bunch go to stock, then they they get issued, some go straight to other production orders, etc. If I have the sub assembly production order, how can I find out what production order it was issued to?
Request clarification before answering.
Ryan,
You can try using MB5L, which is a report that compares MM values with FI values, and this can of course only be the values of material you own and manage as inventory.
You can try this option.
