Total Operation scrap

Hello all,

My client had given me the scenario of Finished Goods operation with Total operation scrap.
He told me that They have 1 line of 3 machines means for 3 operations and they are having a 5% operation scrap when the FG is gone through all the 3 operations.
They have not said that each operation has a operation scrap but instead they said that after the FG completes all this 3 operations the total operation scrap is 5%. So how and where should I maintain this total operation scrap??
Please give me the solution ASAP.

Hi Dhiraj,

You can maintain assembly scrap value in material master MRP1 View. When assembly scrap in material master has value, the scrap portion field in production order is automatically populated by the system. It multiplies the order qty by the percentage scrap and populate the field based on the result. Reserved qty for all the materials will be adjusted based on this scrap %.
