The transports from the supplier to our locations are planned with TM based on purchase orders. This works fine so far. We could set up the Normalized Quantity with the hint from Sarah Moes (see https://answers.sap.com/questions/13728131/tm-normalized-quantity-is-not-calculated-field-is.html). But we still have an issue with the calculation.
The transport basically works with pallets. Therefore, we have set the quantity to pallet. If we set the quantity in the Freight Unit Building Rule to PAL (screenshot 1) the normalized quantity is calculated wrong. It seems that the quantity of 15 PAL is interpreted as 15 PC and therefore the normalized quantity is wrong (screenshot 2 and 3).1 - Freight Unit Building Rule to PAL:
2 - Freight Unit PAL:
3 - Unit of measures:
If I set the quantity in Freight Unit Building Rule to to PC (screenshot 4), everything is calculated correctly (screenshot 5) but then all other displays are also on PC, which is not desired. In this case, we also can’t us the split Quantity in Pal!
4 - Unit Building Rule to to PC:
5 - Freight Unit PC:
Is there any other setting that we have overlooked which leads to the correct Normalized Quantity, with still PAL as Quantity in the Freight Unit Building Rule?
I am grateful for any advice 🙂
Best Regards
Simon
