Hello Experts,
Request your help in understanding TLB functionality in IBP. In SAP APO, we can build TLB profiles (which has the rule-sets i.e 1 EA=5 Case etc). By this we can achieve have truck load factor optimization.
Is there a functionality in SAP IBP now which can be leveraged for this purpose?
I checked the IBP road map document as well, couldn't find any information related to TLB. Can you please confirm if this feature is in Road map for future releases?
Regards,
A.Basu.
Request clarification before answering.
The load consolidation topic is about building feasible loads for Distribution. Load Consolidation is part of IBP longer term roadmap (12+ month). This will group multiple shipments into one considering constraints like volume, weight or pallet count. A close interaction to transportation planning in SAP Transportation Management and execution in SAP S/4 is foreseen.
thanks and regards
Michael

Has the roadmap been defined yet for TLB in IBP? 2022?

Hello A. Basu,
There are no plans for Transport Load Builder (TLB) in IBP for future releases. Therefore I suggest you to submit this idea in our new SAP’s Customer Influence Program for IBP via the following link: https://influence.sap.com/IBP. You can also check the KBA 2479068 with additional information.
Best regards,
Matheus

Hi Guys,
This statement is not correct. IBP future direction mentions Load Consolidation. It is about building feasible loads for Distribution. Load Consolidation is part of IBP longer term roadmap (12+ month). This will group multiple shipments into one considering constraints like volume, weight or pallet count. A close interaction to transportation planning in SAP Transportation Management and execution in SAP S/4 is foreseen.
thanks and regards
Michael
