Time-Series Supply Planning Heuristic Capacity Consumption

We run Time Series Base Supply Planning Heuristic in Infinite without shortages mode. The Capacity usage of Production Resource (PCAPAUSAGE) and the Capacity Demand of Production Resource (PCAPADEMAND) have different values. PCAPADEMAND has the right value but PCAPAUSAGE has a lower value. We have sufficient available capacity.

This results in incorrect Capacity Utilization% impacting the identification of periods where the demand exceeds capacity constraints.

Hi Krish,

The PCAPADEMAND is calculated as PCAPACONSUMPTION * NETDEMAND, while the PCAPAUSAGE is calculated as PCAPACONSUMPTION * PRODUCTION.

Make sure the heuristic is able to produce all net demand, or is this net demand is being satisfied by another SOS e.g. t-lane.

Purge both the KF or respective planning level and check again
