Time series Based Supply Planning Heuristics to run at daily Buckets in IBP System

Hi Experts,

We have a requirement to run the Heuristics at Day Bucket Level. When Heuristics run, the demand is propagated to Supply location on the week ends due to the lead time maintained. is there a way to ignore holidays or heuristics to consider only work days. Tried to create Time profile with Gaps but no luck.

Hi Rama,

The only way I see this working is if you would run Heuristics in Technical Week or Calendar Week level, then when the values would be disaggregated to Daily level, you could use Period Weight 'DAYWEIGHT' for the Supply Key Figures. With this Period Weight DAYWEIGHT, you could define the days in which values should not be disaggregated to (which would be the holidays).
In the SAP Help Portal Configuring Aggregation and Disaggregation of Data Across Different Time Profile Levels, there are more information.

If you try this option, you have to keep in mind that not all Supply Key Figures use Period Weight configuration. You may the list of which ones use it in the SAP Help Portal Key Figures > Key Figure Overview > column "Time Split Policy".
