I think I am correct in saying that 00:00:00 in APO is not the same when transferred to ECC. One thinks its Tuesday and the other thinks its Wednesday. Does anyone have any documentation on this issue? I am trying to convince client to see the capacity records in APO from 00:00:00 to 24:00:00 to 00:00:00 to 23:59:59. Client is also using Capacity Only on defaults for orders in ECC - I believe should be 'backwards in time'. Again looking for some OFFICIAL documentation. Client does not want to just listen to recommendations.
Request clarification before answering.
Not sure I understand the question.
00:00:00 is actually both Tuesday and Wednesday. It is time.
Capacity is utilized when it is actually utilized. What is the issue?
SNP consumes capacity in beginning of the planned order, in your example Wednesday NOT Tuesday.
I assume you are trying to view capacity utilization in SNP Planning Book?

Stanley,
Let me just address one issue, and not the many possible issues about which you are asking.
PPDS order in APO product view have MAD Date Time of 08/19 00:00:00. Same order in ECC on MD04 shows date of 8/18 at 00:00:00. So a days difference if doing ATP from a customer order.Well, I have never seen HH:MM:SS displayed in MD04, but I will take your word for it that you have customized this into your MD04.
I will assume that when you say 'Product view', you are talking about //RRP3 'Elements' tab. In general, many //RRP3 display issues are due to the way you are displaying the time zone. In any case, if you are displaying "Time zone of location" in //RRP3, and you create a PPDS planned order with an available date in the elements tab of 08/19 00:00:00, assuming no GRPT; CIF will send across the finish date and 08/19 will be displayed in MD04 as the Basic Finish Date. If this is not happening, then you should review that all of your master data and configuration in ECC is consistent with your master data and configuration in SCM; paying particular attention to time zones and calendars.
I will not delve into Availability checking for sales orders in this post. This is an entirely different topic.
Best Regards,
