Time dependent KF as attribute

My calculation for a IBP Keyfigure is as follows:

Calc Forecast = Loaded forecast * Rate%

Now I have 2 questions:

1) Rate%- I want to create as Attribute as KF

2) I want a time dependency- VALID FROM and VALI DTO associated with the Rate% and be able to use that in the KF Calculation of Calc Forecast

Hi All

Created the following:
(1) 2 Attributes with TIMESTAMP

• VALID FROM DATE (ZCCFROMDT) and
• VALID TO DATE (ZCCTODT) and assigned to the Product Masterdata

(2) 1 Keyfigure

• ZActiveflag with the below KF Calculation:

ZCCACTIVEFLAG@MTHPRODLOCCUST = IF(("ZCCFROMDT"<= NOW()) AND ("ZCCTODT" >= NOW()),"ZCCUSAGE@MTHPRODLOCCUST",0)

However this calculation logic is putting in the same value across the time periods.

I would like for this logic to be executed in each monthly bucket.

Can someone please help with the KF logic or any pointers please.

Hi Kumar,

Step 1 - Create attribute as a KF

Step 2 - Create a calculation key figure to write here the logic to respect VALIDFROM and VALIDTO type of restrictions. (Simplest solution is to maintain PERIODID (VALIDFROM and VALIDTO) in some MDT attribute and use in this calculation)

Step 3 - Use the calculated key figure in your further calculation

Hi Kumar,

Just check, by setting the VALIDFROM and VAILDTO attributes at customer source level MDT (CPL).
