The relationship between plant and BP Vendor

Hi all,

I am doing ERP and EWM integration.

In BP, the Plant was set (the screenshot was taken from a website for example).

There is another view for assigning BP(Party Entitled to Dispose) to plant.

I am just wondering why it looks like a duplicate setting?

Hi,

the assignment in the BP: old school ;-). This was introduced with embedded EWM and it works.

The second option came new with S/4HANA 1909 (I think) and solves additionally another problem, the ship-from and ship-to assignment, which is required for kit-to-stock scenarios.
