Hi All,
Our business has implemented CTP so that they can do constraint planning in PPDS. After the sales order is saved in ECC the temporary orders created by ATP should be saved and visible as actual orders but the temporary orders remain in the system even after saving the sales order. We do not see this behavior for all the sales orders but we do see it daily when we monitor the APO system.
Action performed by the planners at the sales order level.
1. Creation of sales orders
2. Creating an OD against the sales orders
3. Changing the dates of the existing sales orders (rescheduling it to nearest date)
I feel that this happens when mass changes must be done but I was not able to replicate this in non prod.If any one has seen this issue in past then can you please help me out to avoid this issue.

Please refer SAP note 1908898 - CTP Temporary elements not deleted when changing quantity order.
Temporary requirements will be deleted automatically with the execution of report /SAPAPO/DMOPR_REORG_CTP
TQA's can just be deleted via transaction /SAPAPO/AC06 or report /SAPAPO/OM_DELTA_REMOVE_OLDER.
In case the report /SAPAPO/DMOPR_REORG_CTP does not help to delete the remainings of a CTP process you can get in touch with SAP support requesting for a z-report provided by pilot note 1059679
